About Us

Ron Nisch has been a practicing attorney since 1989, with emphasis on family law issues including divorce, custody, visitation, dissolution, and juvenile court proceedings, as well as consumer issues, foreclosure defense, landlord-tenant issues, guardianships, appeals, and entertainment law, among others.

Ron was a staff attorney for Advocates for Basic Legal Equality for seven years; was the Executive Director of Ottawa County Transitional Housing, Inc.; is the past chair of the Ottawa County Domestic Violence Task Force; and has been a member of the board of directors for Ottawa Residential Services, Inc., the Salvation Army, Ottawa County Transitional Housing, Inc., Joyful Connections, the Ability Center, and a member of the Port Clinton City School District Long Term Planning Advisory Committee and Parent Advisory Committee.

Ron has extensive experience as a guardian ad litem in area courts, in mediation proceedings, in non-profit development, and in legislative lobbying. Ron received his J.D. from the University of Toledo College of Law. Ron is married, has two children, and is an active professional songwriter and musician.
